Tala Ridge Alpha: New Cover!

Tala Ridge Alpha (Book 1)

Tala Ridge Alpha: New Cover and New Blurb!

Announcing a new cover and a new blurb for Tala Ridge Alpha

After much consideration, I decided to change the book cover for book 1.

As in the Texas Ranch Wolf Pack Series, this cover will be the basis for future covers in the Tala Ridge Shifters series.

Blurb:

When two teenaged wolf shifter alphas square off, who survives?

Tala Ridge Alpha is the first book of a young adult paranormal shifter series.

First introduced in the Texas Ranch Wolf Pack series, Terrell, the teenaged alpha of the Tala Ridge Wolf Pack, faces leadership challenges he never expected.

Tala Ridge Alpha:
Large Print Edition
It's hard enough stepping into a role Terrell  wasn't prepared for, but dealing with Buck, the teenaged alpha of the outcasts, is fraught with danger.

Is the pack safe with unknown wolves sniffing around?

Will the two teen alphas find a way to work together?

Or will the past they had no part in shaping make them enemies?

When two teen alphas square off, will their packs survive?

For Comparison: Old Cover

So, what do you think?

Old vs new, which is better? Please let me know in the comments.

The new cover is the basis for the covers in this series.

I'll post the cover for my WIP, Tala Ridge Storm, soon.

Other News

A side-character from Tala Ridge Alpha has decided to play a bigger role in Tala Ridge Storm. Can you guess which one?

Take care,

Wolf's Queen is Published in eBook and Paperback

Wolf's Queen, Book 7 in the Texas Ranch Wolf Pack Series

Wolf's Queen, Book 7 in The Texas Ranch Wolf Pack Series has Published!

I am excited to make this announcement.

After the success of the series, and the box set, Wolf's Destiny, the next installment of the story. Wolf's Queen, has published! The book is also available in paperback!

Wolf's Queen is set in the two week period between the battle in Oklahoma when Nate took the fight to the Huntsmen and the final chapter of Wolf's Reign.

This story isn't as militaristic as some of the previous books in the series. It shows how Janelle grows into her role as the worldwide Queen of Were.

I  hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Blurb:

With the Oklahoma Huntsmen routed, the injured healing, and the battles over, at least for now, Janelle, Queen of the Were, wants nothing more than for things to get back to normal.

She takes a mixed group of were ladies to Houston for a ‘girls day,’ but the fun stops when human traffickers kidnap two of her pack.

The traffickers don’t know what they have.

More important, they don’t know what’s coming for them.

The Alpha Queen is hunting . . .

If you love reading about werewolves and other shifters, you will love learning about the Texas Ranch Wolf Pack!

Texas Ranch Wolf Pack Book Series Cover Changes

Series Book Cover Changes

After consulting with other authors and some book cover designers, I decided to change the covers of the Texas Ranch Wolf Pack Series books.

Thanks to Members of the Guerrilla Publishing: Book Marketing Support and Feedback for Authors

I want to thank all the writers and book cover designers in the Guerrilla Publishing: Book Marketing Support and Feedback for Authors Facebook group, with special thanks going to Derek Murphy. Derek is the administrator of the Facebook group, the author of Guerilla Publishing: Dangerously Effective Writing and Book Marketing Strategies, and is a book cover designer, too. If you want to learn more about Derek and the helps he offers other writers, you can check out his blog. The help I receive from Derek and his group is fantastic. If you are a struggling author, the Facebook group is well worth looking into.

I hope to have book 6 in the series, Wolf's Reign, finished by the 10th of December. While this title is what I have planned from the beginning, I am now thinking of changing the title. I'll let you know if that happens.

Please note that the links in the previous blog post still work, even if the image is the old image.

Wolf's Huntsman: First Draft Complete

Wolf's Huntsman Update: 1st Draft & 3 Edits Complete

Wolf's Huntsman, Book 4 in the Texas Ranch Wolf Pack series should publish no later than August 1!

It has been through 3 edits, with a few more to go.

You can read the first three chapters in this blog post:

The Black Forest Huntsmen intended to take over the U.S. government. When Alpha werewolves, Nate and Eli, with the help a young Huntsman, thwart those plans, the Huntsmen send agents to kill their traitor. One of those agents is the man's sister.

But, there's more to the story. A plot so insidious, so disastrous that if it isn't foiled will have more far reaching consequences than a possible World War III.  Will Nate learn about the threat to all humanity in time?

In this story, Nate begins to unravel the history of the werewolves and his own family, culminating the discovery of a threat to the lives of all humans.

Wolf's Huntsman, Newest Book Started

Wolf's Huntsman #4 in the Texas River Wolf Pack Series.

I have been working on this book since Wolf's Mission published. At this point, I have seven chapters and over 9,000 words written.

In Wolf's Mission, Nate and Eli bring one of the Huntsmen back with them. After helping them retrieve a kidnapped werewolf, his life is forfeit.

But what happens when a Huntsman, raised by a family of Huntsmen, suddenly finds himself surrounded by the very werewolves he has been trained all his life to fear, hunt, and kill?

The preliminary cover selected for this book is at left.

Read the first three chapters!

Have you read the previous books in the series?
